I think Vartroy originates from Portugal, but I'm not entirely sure as there's no info sheet included. Anyway the band play traditional heavy metal as Iron Maiden plays it, and especially Iron Maiden is the centre of rotation here. The Englishmen have been a huge, huge influence on Vartroy. The band sounds like a poor imitation of the aforementioned. No doubt that Vartroy are pretty good at what they are doing, but the similarities with Iron Maiden are just too clear. Often it sounds like they have copied exact structures and riffs from Iron Maiden's songs, and this just become too much. Why listen to a copycat if you can listen to the original? It's fine with me being inspired by others, but Vartroy take it a step too far for my taste, hence the low score.
OBS.: talvez a correspondência tenha sido aberta, pois existe uma afirmação de que não existia nenhum info junto ao cd, porém a banda manda a todos um pacote com todas as informações necessárias, inclusive contato.
